Ever wondered what a typical day of eating looks like for someone who actually enjoys healthy food? Here's everything I ate yesterday - simple, whole-food meals that nourish my body and support my energy throughout the day. Breakfast - Yogurt bowl with fruit & granola
I started my morning with a big bowl of Greek yogurt topped with fresh blueberries, banana slices, and a handful of granola. It's high in protein, naturally sweet, and keeps me full until lunch. Blueberries contain antioxidants that can help fight inflammation. Bananas are rich in fiber which aids digestion and reduces bloating. I always eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up. It sets the tone for the whole day.
Lunch - Avocado egg toast
My go-to lunch when I want something quick but satisfying. Two slices of sourdough bread, half an avocado, two fried eggs, and a pinch of chili flakes on top. Ready in under 10 minutes and made with simple, whole ingredients. Avocado provides healthy fats that support hormone balance, while eggs are rich in protein and essential nutrients like choline what's important for brain function and overall women’s health.
Snack - Dates with walnut & dark chocolate
My favorite sweet snack that doesn't spike my blood sugar. Dates are naturally sweet and packed with fiber, walnuts give you healthy omega-3 fats, and a small piece of dark chocolate satisfies any chocolate craving. This combo is genuinely delicious.
Dinner - Rice, chicken & cucumber
A simple, balanced dinner that never gets old. I seasoned the chicken with garlic, lemon, and herbs, served it over fluffy rice with fresh cucumber on the side. Chicken is a great source of protein to support muscle recovery and stable blood sugar levels, which is key for hormone health. Rice provides easily digestible carbs for energy and helps regulate cortisol levels, while cucumber is hydrating and supports digestion. I like to add a splash of soy sauce over the cucumber for extra flavor.
Eating healthy doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. These are real meals that I actually enjoy. And that's the whole point. Food should make you feel good, not stressed. Looking for more healthy inspiration? Check out my favorites page for everything I use and recommend.
